Seriously, I never imagined myself blogging..
Well.. except when I promised myself that I would when I got a decent camera, which I did 2 years ago.
Now, here I am struggling on what to share.
So I asked a good friend for an idea and guess what.. she wants me to write anything about BEACH? (girl!!! summer is so over!).
Right then, without any second thought, I decided to share my most memorable beach experience that dates back summer 2010. (For #TBT).
Coron, Palawan
From Wikipedia, "Coron is a first class municipality in the province of Palawan, Philippines, comprising the eastern half of Busuanga Island, all of Coron Island and about 50 other minor islets stretching as far as Tara Island in the northeast and Canipo Island in the south."
But all we guys need to know about is that wanted to relax and see some beaches!!
Since it's 4 years ago, pardon me for missing some details of the trip.
On with our adventure!
Lazy person depends on friends so, ticket booking and hotel accommodation + tour were all taken care of by my friends. THANK YOU Glyrford :)
As far as I could remember, we had a morning flight that ranges around 7-8am, that's how lazy I am that I can't wake up for an earlier flight.
We had a safe flight thus this writing is possible. Fetched from the airport by our hotel...

Coron Villlage Lodge
It was a decent place to stay where our room is across the street to their dining area. We checked in, left our bags and go straight to an early lunch! FOOD!!!

Just enough time after a meal to rest for awhile then on again for a 1st day hectic island hopping.
Now.. we had 4 days there and I really really really can't remember which took place which day and what went after the other. I still wish you appreciate these.
Here's some of the amazing view we witnessed.

One of the must visit there was the Kayangan Lake. It's a 10 minute trekking up a rocky stairs with some twist to see the best view of the lake, a pretty good exercise I must say. Every step is an effort yet every step is also worth it to see this amazing serene.
TIP: Put ample amount of mosquito repellents!

Clear waters, wonderful rock formation.
After which, just go down the beach and swim your heart out!
Another memorable adventure we had was conquering the killer 700+ steps of Mt. Tapyas.

100th step!!!
We had our picture taken up to the 300th step but lost our will to continue taking picture coz we're tired hehe but never did we surrender to reach the top!!!! A local kid selling water around 400-500th steps helped us. That gave us the will to continue walking up those endless steps. That kid is super! He's carrying bottled waters and went up to the top with us, EFFORTLESSLY! Nevertheless, we reached the top just in time to see the sunrise.

The cross in the summit of Mount Tapyas
There's a song about Tapyas by the locals that instantly became our favorite, heck! We were singing it during our dinner time!
One of my favorite was the Hot spring moment. It's the soul reason why we are there, to have our ultimate relaxation, away from the toxicity of Metro.

OK???
If you really love the ocean, you'll really love Coron. We spent so much time in the ocean travelling one island to another. Good thing there's some soda and sandwich that our hotel prepared for our long trip.
I can't recall the names of the other beaches we went, there's
CYC, Banana Island and Bulog Beach.
What I can remember is this beach / Island.

Malcapuya Island - ** Jay
I remember this day where only 4 of us went to this island, apparently one of our friend had an injury during the Skeleton Wreck adventure when he kicked the tip of the sunken ship!
Here are some of the views at MALCAPUYA island.
For our gift "pasalubong", we opt to see and get the fresh ones.

Ending our trip, we went to a nearby store to buy something when we are greeted by this fella.
|
Hello brother!
..and all he wanted to say is "COME BACK SOON! Thank you for not putting me in a cage together with that crazy person over there!"
I really wish we could go back there again.. the question is WHEN???!!!??
